School Uniform

Please find below the guidelines for school uniform at St Philip’s.

Our expectation is that all children should wear school uniform each day, as detailed in the document below. We also ask all children to have their PE kit in school, ready to wear on any day. Children usually have a set timetable and know when their PE days are, but sometimes changes are made and it is useful for them to have their PE kit in school every day. PLEASE NAME ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING, INCLUDING COATS, GLOVES AND HATS.

The PTA tries to hold second hand uniform sales each term and has a system of collecting old uniform that people no longer need or want to re-sell. If anyone has any difficulties with getting any items of school uniform, please do ask for help. Whilst we prefer children to have jumpers or cardigans with the school logo on them, it is also acceptable to have plain ones. Please note that tracksuit bottoms and leggings are not considered part of the school uniform.

School School Uniform

• Navy blue sweatshirt with or without school logo
• Navy blue cardigan with or without school logo
• White polo shirt with or without school logo
• Grey trousers
• Grey shorts
• Grey skirt
• Grey school dress
• Blue checked summer dress
• Grey, white, blue or black socks or tights (not leggings)
• Plain black shoes or trainers

PE Uniform:

• Black or navy blue shorts or leggings/sports’ trousers/joggers
• Plain T-shirt  in House Colours or a plain white T-shirt (with or without the school logo)
• Black or navy blue sweatshirt – not school sweatshirt
• Trainers suitable for physical sporting activity

Important:

Football shirts, graphic tees, or heavily branded sportswear are NOT allowed.

There are no minimum order quantities and your uniform will be delivered directly to your chosen address. As well as our approved school uniform with the school logo, you are also able to order plain items such as trousers, skirts and shirts.
