Collective Worship
We gather as a community daily for collective worship. Collective Worship, and the spiritual development it offers, is at the heart of our school. Collective Worship is for all pupils and staff, regardless of background. Our daily act of worship is rooted in Christianity, however, those of all faiths and none are included in its spiritual offering. Collective Worship is carefully planned to ensure everyone can flourish and leave each day having learned and reflected upon something new.
Parents are welcome to attend our Tuesday worships which are led by the children. Each class leads a worship each half term. Parents are invited to the worship by the class teacher, via the school office. Please look out for your invite to worship with us.
As a whole community, we attend our parish church, St. Philip's, at least termly. It is a wonderful celebration of all that is good in our school, and beyond. Parents, governors and members of the wider congregation are invited to worship with us.
It is a legal requirement that all registered school age students take part in an act of worship each day. These acts of worship are “wholly and of a broadly Christian Character.

A prayer for our school:
Dear God,
Thank You for our school, our friends, and those who care for us.
Help us to live each day with thankfulness in our hearts.Teach us to show respect to everyone we meet,
To have trust in You when things feel hard,
And to hold on to hope when we face new challenges.Give us courage to do what is right,
Even when it's not easy.
And help us to follow Jesus’ example
By showing love and service to others.Amen.
