Bikeability Success for Year 5 and 6
Some of our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils completed their Level 2 Bikeability training this week, and we are incredibly proud of their positive attitude throughout the programme.
Bikeability is a wonderful, fully funded national cycling scheme that helps children become road‑ready and confident cyclists. Level 2 training develops essential skills such as safe road positioning, signalling, negotiating junctions and making informed decisions when cycling on local roads.
We are pleased to be able to offer both Level 1 and Level 2 Bikeability training each year, ensuring that children build skills and have the opportunity to develop confidence and independence on their bikes.
The programme promotes safe travel, healthy lifestyles and responsible behaviour within the community. Well done to all the pupils who took part.
